Welcome to Loveday & Skip

A life shaped by hands, fire and story.

We live off-grid, between the woods and the water, shaping cloth, metal and fire into objects with quiet histories. Each piece carries a story, ours, the materials and the worlds that inspire them.

Our life & workshop

From a woodland wagon to a floating narrowboat studio, we make things slowly and with intention. Every mark, fold and hammer strike is part of the story. Nothing is rushed. Nothing repeated. New creations appear when the time is right.

Our work

Discover pieces shaped by fire, metal, cloth and story.

Handmade metalwork & horse-nail jewellery – echoes of old stories forged by hand.
Pyrography & fire-marked objects – each mark deliberate, each object unique.
Hand-printed cloth & paper pieces – patterns born of time, care, and curiosity.
Glass & mixed-metal jewellery – curiosities formed in fire and water.
Reflections on folklore and’s spiritual living – thoughts from the woods and the cut.
Odd experiments along the way 🙂 – because magic sometimes happens by accident.

Stories and reflections

Loveday & Skip is more than objects. It’s a shared life of slow making, rooted in folklore, spiritual practice, and quiet moments in the woods and on the water.
Curious how these pieces come to life? Explore our Stories page for reflections from the workshop, the woods and the water.
